Winner of the Swedish Campari competition

As previously mentioned, I entered a Campari cocktail competition recently with a twist on the Ramos Gin Fizz.  Unfortunately I didn't win, but I thought I'd at least share the winning recipe with you - after all, it seems to be a rather tasty spin on one of my all time favourites, the Mai Tai. Here we go!

Mai Tai - Trader Gaspare
Mai Tai - Trader Gaspare
40 ml El Dorado 12 y.o. rum
15 ml Campari
05 ml Wray & Nephew overproof rum
30 ml lime juice
25 ml orgeat

Shake all ingredients, strain into a double Old Fashioned glass with fresh ice cubes. Garnish with a pinch of cacao powder, a large orange zest and a mint sprig.
